Seattle, WA (PressExposure) February 07, 2013 -- SEATTLE--An innovative career-building tool called CAREER QUEST CARDS will be featured in a workshop with career counselor/coach Halimah Bellows, MA, MS, CCC, CPC on Wednesday, March 20 at 7:00 pm at East West Bookstore at 6500 Roosevelt Avenue in Seattle. Halimah Bellows designed CAREER QUEST CARDS to offer individuals an engaging and affordable strategy for developing a fulfilling new career.
Packaged in a convenient, portable 4½-by-6-inch clear plastic box, the set of 24 CAREER QUEST CARDS provides a distillation of 30 key career-coaching exercises. In the workshop at East West Bookstore, participants will work with partners or in small groups using the cards to help each other gain a clearer sense of their career priorities. The cards are color-coded in five categories, allowing an individual the flexibility to work with the cards randomly or use them in a sequence that suits his or her own learning style. Career-seekers are encouraged to keep journals to track discoveries that they make about their values and preferences in the process of doing the exercises.
The cost for the workshop at East West Bookstore is $10. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase cards for their individual use at a discount of $5 off the regular sales price of $26.
