Woodenville, WA (PressExposure) December 17, 2008 -- Eagle View Measurements, the company that revolutionized the roofing industry with a first-of-its-kind innovation that measures roofs remotely with computerized aerial photos, has established a new five-tiered pricing structure, CEO Chris Barrow announced today.
Previously, Eagle View had a flat fee for reports, no matter how simple or complex the roof was. This âone price fits allâ approach made it hard for some roofing customers to justify using Eagle View for simple houses, according to Barrow. The new tiered-based pricing, combined with affordable subscription plans, will allow Eagle View to provide significant discounts for customers who previously ordered a larger number of reports or for those who order reports for more simple structures.
Thus, the company devised a new subscription-based, tiered-pricing model based on the number of âfacetsâ or âsectionsâ on a roof. Simple roofs with less than six âfacetsâ, for example, start as low as $25. There are five pricing tiers: Tier 1 (homes with one to five facets); Tier 2 (6-9 facets); Tier 3 (10-23); Tier 4 (24-73); Tier 5 (73+). In addition, customers with the subscription plans receive discounts to the tiered-pricing, based on their volume.
Eagle View interviewed many roofers who are existing customers before making the decision to change its pricing.
âSome of our customers were using Eagle View only for the very complex homes,â Barrow says. âWe asked our customers to tell us at what price point they would use Eagle View for every home they measured. The consensus from our customers was that an entry price between $25 and $30 would be the right number. Thatâs why we started our new tiered based pricing at $25. The new model has been received extremely well. Many of our customers are now using Eagle View as the default for every house they need to measure.â
âPreviously, when every report cost $50, I would pick and choose which roofs I would order an Eagle View report,â says Kevin Curry, President of California Roof Savers. âNow with the low price of $25 for an easy house, using Eagle View is a no brainer.â According to industry experts, Eagle View's groundbreaking innovation has transformed the roofing industry by saving roofers an enormous amount of time and money when measuring roofs.
Here is how Eagle View's system works:
Roofing contractors provide Eagle View with the address of the residential or commercial structure they need to estimate. With state-of-the-art software and sophisticated aerial imagery to accurately measure lengths, pitches, and valleys on a roof, Eagle View creates a detailed report, complete with individual line, slope and area measurements, most often in as little as 24-48 hours . Eagle View then produces a thorough, informative and comprehensive multiple page report that features five different images of the roof â a straight overhead image as well as north, south, east and west views of the property. The colorful images include pitch angles and highly accurate measurements.
âWhat Eagle View has done is nothing short of a miracle for the roofing industry," says L.C. Nussbeck, Owner and President of Aspen Contracting in Nashville, Tennessee. "They've redefined the measuring aspect of our industry."
"And now we've created a proper pricing model that makes our service affordable for every roofer," Barrow says.
