Toronto, Canada (PressExposure) July 24, 2013 -- The Emmy and Gemini award-winning production company, EggPlant Collective continues to expand their EggPlant TV division with the addition of Phyllis Newman as Vice-President of Production.
Phyllis Newman will oversee EggPlant's production and development slate including series, pilots and digital media. Newman will be working alongside Terry Tompkins, Partner of EggplantTV.

Newman has worked as Supervising Producer on series such as: Love Trap, Pure Design and Gemini-nominated, Party Mamas. She has also worked as a Producer on lifestyle, reality, factual and documentary series for international and Canadian broadcasters, including W Network, CosmoTV, YTV, Slice, HGTV and Bravo! Prior to producing, Phyllis worked as a Talent Agent and Casting Director on Canadian and U.S. film and television productions.
