Uniguest, a provider of Internet kiosks in hotels, medical facilities and apartment complexes across the country, has been recognized as a high-growth private company by the Entrex Private Company Index (PCI), a benchmarking index that measures the monthly revenue performance of private companies in North America.
The Entrex PCI gave Uniguest its monthly Top Growth Award for February â09, based on the companyâs 103 percent increase in revenue over the same month in 2008.
Uniguestâs CEO Shawn Thomas said, âTodayâs economy has given companies like oursâwith little debt, strong cash flow, and set infrastructureâthe opportunity to grow through acquisitions, as well as organic growth.â
Stephen H. Watkins, CEO of Entrex, Chicago-based sponsor of the PCI, said that private companies, like Uniguest and others on the Index, are growing despite the recession.
