Alan Petford, part-time Lecturer in Local and Regional History at the University of Leeds and a WEA lecturer, will give a talk on the subject on 13 January 2010 at 7.30pm at the Methodist Hall, Hebden Bridge.
The talk will investigate the rich variety of buildings in Hebden Bridge, from the 18th century chapel to late 19th century railway architecture, including the fascinating diversity of houses built for ordinary people.
