Houston, Texas (PressExposure) August 21, 2013 -- On August 12th, 3939P Montrose Boulevard became the new location of Eye Elegance, a family-owned and operated local boutique specialized in unique and well-made eyeglass and sunglass frames. Just about everything is done in-house, from taking prescriptions, to cutting and tinting lenses, and meticulously fitting frames to each client's face. After 24 years of operating, the last 15 within their shop in Highland Village, Eye Elegance is announcing its move to a neighborhood just as eclectic as their eyewear.
According to owner, Daniel Protz, "The entire staff is very excited about Eye Elegance's new home. I believe the new casual, modern and industrial look in conjunction with the finest selection and unparalleled service will be appealing to our existing clients and attract new eyewear enthusiasts." The staff comprises of a diverse range of backgrounds and education, as well as many years of consolidated experience. They are able to assist the most discriminating and the most avant-garde individuals with their eyewear choices.
The artistic and hip Montrose area harmonizes perfectly with Eye Elegance, which typically attracts in the know and artistically minded clientele. Montrose's large art community, fueled by an amazing amount of high quality exhibitions and diverse artistic mediums, exudes positive energy, making this area of Houston a perfect nest for economic and social growth. Encapsulating the essence of the community, Eye Elegance has a broad and deep selection of eyewear paired with years of optical knowledge and technique.
The new Eye Elegance boutique is aesthetically modern, contrasting nicely with the maturity and experience of the staff. Recycled black and tan rubber flooring, stainless steel 10ft walls, glass and angle iron display shelving and an open floor plan all lend to creating a raw and industrial atmosphere. An exquisite mezzanine level with deeply discounted prices on exquisite eyewear and 33ft lofted ceilings make this a spacious and uncluttered environment to house numerous frames by talented designers, like Cartier, Oliver Peoples, l.a.Eyeworks and theo, to name a few.
Adjacent to Eye Elegance is Houston's Museum District and The University of St. Thomas, Houston's only Catholic university, opening its doors to a global and diverse student body over 60 years ago. Canopy, a neighboring restaurant with a locally-grown and global cuisine, quite possibly, produces as much shade as the quantity of shades carried by Eye Elegance itself. Despite the shade, the future looks bright for Eye Elegance at 3939P Montrose Boulevard, open to grow on August 12th in the unique and flourishing area that is Montrose.
