Growing up in Norwalk, CT, Farrad was destined for success. He took on many musical challenges in his hometown, performing on the stage and in musical ensembles. It wasn't difficult for people to recognize that he would be a standout. Farrad's strong vocals and amazing dance skills thrilled audiences early on. In his wisdom, Farrad knew that his musical gifts would remain but he would have to work on the other gifts bestowed upon him. Instead of solely focusing on his musical talents Farrad simultaneously concentrated on his academics. Farrad placed his dreams of stardom on the back burner to focus on his academics. A high achieving student, Farrad was a member of the National Honors Society graduating in the top of his class from St. Luke's in New Canaan.
Farrad headed south to New York City where he attended and ultimately graduated from prestigious Columbia University. Soon after graduation, he was poised to let his creative talents loose. He used all his available time developing his craft as he launched a career in theater. He also performed on a number of Equity stages and toured all over the world.
Farrad never forgot his musical roots. This multi-faceted artist also found time to hone his extraordinary songwriting talents as well as sing back-up and lead on the B.B. Kings Blues Club stage, paying tribute to some of the greatest legend in soul music, including Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin.
"Farrad is the future of the hot club scene. He electrifies his audience with euphoric grooves surpassed only by spectacular moves. As a dancer, it's impossible not to compare him to Michael Jackson." --Bill Robinson (In Style).
Farrad is no longer known as just a local celebrity. His growing fan base has seen him perform at a variety of venues in and around New York City including as the opening act with Cazwell for Pop star Lady Gaga. With the release of his album and the high demand for his music, Bunim/Murray Productions has signed a licensing deal to use The Time Is Now for the upcoming seasons of their reality television shows and to top it all off, Farrad, along with business partner Gabe Goldberg have started their own music company called "Beulah's Baby Entertainment". This is one multi-faceted talent that is in it for the long run.
