St. Louis, MO (PressExposure) December 07, 2009 -- The Firefighters Coalition of Credit Unions (FCoCU), founded in October 2007, is devoted to the development of Firefighter Credit Unions. It is comprised of representatives from 26 of the nationâs 100 identified firefighter credit unions primarily representing firefighters. FCoCU seeks to leverage its collective resources to further the growth, development and interests of firefighter credit unions nationwide.
Protecting and preserving the vision and purpose of firefighter credit unions is paramount to the continued success of the firefighter credit union movement. In order to achieve this, members of the firefighterâs credit union network have joined forces in an effort to bring innovation and shared vision to their common goal with the Firefighters Coalition of Credit Unions.
More information is available from the Coalitionâs new web site at [http://www.FCoCU.org].

Conference moderator, Bill Rogers, pointed out that âEye contact is our most underrated skill. The real value in attending the firefighterâs credit union conference is the face-to-face networking in the program. Itâs priceless. We plan to expand the networking capabilities with next yearâs conference and through the Firefighter Coalition of Credit Unions.â
