Florida's Bay Area Baptist Church Issues Macedonian Call for Soul-Winners to Come to Florida

Clearwater, Florida (PressExposure) April 19, 2008 -- Pastor David Williams, a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point Indiana is summoning any post-graduate student of Hyles-Anderson who wishes to be a vital part of a soul-winning church in the Tampa Bay area in Florida to answer the call for needed experienced soul-winners, bus workers, Sunday School teachers, singers and musicians, trained administrators, Christian School teachers, or workers who have experience in any of several dozen ministries that are planned in the region.

Bay Area Baptist Church, a brand new Independent Baptist Church, is being planted in Largo/Clearwater because several former Independent Baptist Churches have either moved or changed their emphasis away from soul-winning and bus ministry. In fact, Pastor David Williams knows only one church which is across the bay that even hints at a bus ministry but several who were deeply involved in the local Clearwater area have phased their bus ministries out completely. One church in Pinellas Park, Florida has even become a non-Baptist church with contemporary praise/worship music after having had Dr. Jack Hyles speak here every year for over 10 years.

Bay Area Baptist Church needs workers for ministries that are planned in the area. If a reader has any experience in soul-winning ministry, bus ministry, youth ministry with many types of activities and clubs, college ministry, telemarketing ministry, hospital ministry, elderly care ministry, welcome ministry, we care ministry, jail ministry, military ministry, deaf ministry, blind ministry, mentally handicapped ministry, Spanish ministry, homes for wayward boys and girls ministry, family shelter for homeless families, rescue mission, elderly care shelter ministry, truck stop ministry, music ministry that includes professional musicians and a music conservatory for music of all instruments, children's ministries in all seasons, Christian schools for elementary, middle, and high school, advertising ministry, internet ministry, radio and T.V. ministries they should prayerfully consider contacting the church and moving to the area to work in this exciting new venture.

Plans are being made to have the church in full operation by the fall of 2008 with soul-winning ministries in full swing and bringing some of the nearly 2 million unchurched from the area to the services. The church web site at http://bayareabaptistchurch.com has much about the goals, the pastor and his wife, and what they believe as well as links and friends in similar ministries. It is requested that as many respond to this "Macedonian Call" to come to Florida and help this church. All interested parties should email the pastor at bayareabaptistchurch@gmail.com or call the message phone at 360-937-7088 to leave your contact information. A date is being set for local families to meet the pastor and discuss his vision of winning souls in the area for Christ.

The reason for this new ministry is that churches that used to be interested in soul-winning and bus ministry along with the other ministries mentioned have either moved or changed their focus away from being Independent Baptists. This leaves a vacuum in an area that desperately needs this type of ministry. The Tampa Bay area potentially has more lost souls than many foreign countries where missionaries go to minister for the Gospel.

The location is in Largo/Clearwater near Feather Sound and just north of Pinellas Park in the area of Ulmerton Blvd.
