Carlsbad, CA (PressExposure) June 18, 2009 -- Gene Mott, an online entrepreneur and coach consultant, recently announced that he had teamed up with CarbonCopyPRO, the marketing arm of Wealth Masters International (WMI) in order to promote and expand his online business. Mott plans to broaden his scope as an online marketer and to achieve lasting financial success as a result of the new business arrangement. "I want to give to other entrepreneurs the benefits of my background and current experiences with both CarbonCopyPRO and WMI," Mott said.
Mott has extensive, high-level retail sales and management experience. He was formerly a buyer, merchandise manager, and executive vice president for retail giant Genesco, Inc. Mott also had stints with Miller Stores and Saks Fifth Avenue, where he oversaw the opening of 3 west coast stores, while serving as both wholesale VP and sales manager. "I understand business," said Mott, "as well as the bottom line. Despite the differences between a bricks and mortar store and an online enterprise, the underlying concepts are identical. With my broad background and experience, I can provide tremendous value to someone just starting out in network marketing."
Mott cited the shaky economy as the primary reason he left retail and launched his home-based internet business. "Regardless of what company you work for, what position you hold, or even how long you've been there, in today's economy your job is at risk. But while mainstream businesses are suffering, the online economy is booming. It's completely recession proof, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of it," Mott said.
"I spent 10 good years as a sales manager/line builder for Garolini Shoes, which were some of the happiest and best professional years of my life," Mott said. "But even at that, I am far more secure today--and happier as well--running my own business. I am now completely in control of my own destiny, and making more money as well."
Looking forward, the sky is the limit as far as Mott is concerned. He intends to establish and solidify a number of international friendships, and to achieve WMI Level 3 status. "The old model of working at the same company for several decades and then retiring in place doesn't work anymore," said Mott. "That's okay though," he continued, "because this approach is a lot better."
