Riverside, CA (PressExposure) February 12, 2009 -- As part of an aggressive program to bolster local businesses, the City of San Jacinto is launching a series of evening presentations for business owners to be held on the third Wednesday of every month.
To kick off the business assistance program, the City of San Jacinto, in partnership with the City of Hemet, the County of Riverside Economic Development Agency and the Hemet-San Jacinto Economic Development Corporation, held a half-day seminar on Wednesday, January 28 called âBusiness SOS! How to Survive in 2009.â Several presentations were provided regarding free or low cost services including business counseling, education and training, sources of financing, increasing productivity, energy efficiency and utility rebates. Several attendees expressed their appreciation of the workshop and commented that they did not know so many resources were readily available.
The first evening seminar on âHow to Recession-Proof Your Businessâ will be presented by marketing and management expert, David Sanders on Wednesday, February 18 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the San Jacinto Community Center located at 625 S. Pico Avenue in San Jacinto, California.
Sanders is no newcomer to business or recessions. With a track record of 30 years he has helped businesses weather the last four recessions. His specialty is zeroing in on the actual workable actions that need to be taken so that a business can continue to move forward in the face of opposition â even when seemingly insurmountable. With ample illustration and powerful PowerPoint presentation to bring the data home, his presentations are rated high amongst those who take advantage.
