Free Mom's Night Out in League City, Texas

League City, Texas (PressExposure) July 08, 2009 -- Nestled in the heart of League City, a brand new perspective on hourly childcare has taken hold. At Hour Kids, fun-loving children, aged 6 weeks to 12 years, are rooted to the ground fascinated by this exciting day-care’s take on “Edutainment” -- a fun blend of education and entertainment. Started by local resident, Kecia Mallette, Hour Kids is fast becoming the favorite care center for parents and children alike.

“I see Hour Kids as an extension of a family’s support system. Parents deserve to have this level of childcare available to them,” says Mallette.

The hourly care is not just babysitting as the activities are carefully selected to engage curious minds and foster emerging skills.Mallette knows a child’s work is play, and here, children can get help on a particularly sticky homework problem, or express themselves via the ancient art of Karaoke all under the supervision of a First-Aid certified staff.

Mallette is an experienced nurse who knows a thing or two about keeping the play area germ-free. "I love the fact they are as germaphobic as I am,” says Diane R, Cody’s mom, “that is so important to me." Hour Kids also utilizes technology to ensure they are the leaders in hourly childcare. “I know she is safe," says Lisa K, Amy’s mom; the biometric system in place uses a fingerprint identification system to ensure only those authorized by the parents be able to pick up a child.

Hour Kids isn’t just about the kids though, the working moms get to have fun too. Plan to drop the kids off because on July 18, Hour Kids will be hosting a lavish Mommies Night Out complete with tasty appetizers, door prizes (4 tickets to the Texas Renaissance Festival), and spa treatments. Women will register at Hour Kids for the free event and walk next door to Bushi Ban for the fun. If you have child care that evening, great. If you need child care, Hour Kids will be open for you. Hour Kids members will be able to use their existing rates and packages. Families new to Hour Kids may try us tonight for $8 per hour and no membership fee.

Each mom will get a goodie bag filled with things to make your life easier so much more. This event is completely free. If you’re a mommie that sells things, call Hour Kids to participate in the event. We’re are asking contributors to provide a door prize or a sample for our goodie bags. Space is limited so please have anyone interested in having a table at the event call Melissa at 832-372-8170 or email me at melissadeflora@yahoo.comHour Kids is conveniently located 3311 FM 518 Rd E. between South Shore Blvd and Meadow Pkwy.
