Benicia, CA (PressExposure) August 15, 2009 -- Lindsay Art Glass celebrating its newly remodeled gallery by giving back to the American craft community through a fundraising event called âA Season for CERFâ during the month of September. Ann Lindsay states that âwe have waited over 11 years to remodel the gallery and feel thankful to be in business despite all of the economic struggles that the past few years have provided. Our Season of CERF month will culminate in a donation to CERF of 10% of our retail sales for September. We are proud to be able to assist this wonderful organization, and hope that our customers support it too.â CERF stands for the raft Emergency Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that assists American Craft Artists when an emergency strikes.
CERF accomplishes its mission through direct financial and educational assistance to craft artists, including emergency relief assistance, business development support, and resources and referrals on topics such as health, safety, and insurance. CERF also advocates, engages in research, and backs policy that supports craft artistsâ careers. CERF is:
