Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (PressExposure) February 06, 2008 -- The GHMC on Thursday started the process of disposing applications submitted under the Building Penalisation Scheme. All four applications pertaining to regularization of additional floors were scrutinized and disposed of. Over Rs 5.22 lakh were paid towards penalization charges by the applicants.
Arifullah Hussaini of Red Hills, and K.Parvatamma and K.Ravindra Babu of Brindavan Housing Colony in Kapra were among the first beneficiaries of the scheme. The sale of BPS applications picked up on Thurday with nearly 500 being sold in Kapra circle alone.
"The sale of applications has crossed 20,000 figure. We are expecting a rush for submission of applications from Monday, "GHMC" chief city planner, Mr.Puroshothama Reddy said. The corporation will press into service mobile teams which will receive and register applications on the spot. These teams will first visit Kapra, Qutbullapur and Malkajgiri.
