GTI Bags Container Terminal of the Year Trophy at CNBC- Maritime Gateway Awards 2008

Mumbai, India (PressExposure) September 22, 2008 -- GTI was awarded the ‘Best Container Terminal 2008’ at the CNBC Maritime Gateway Awards for its phenomenal performance. Mr. Arvind Bhatnagar, CEO and Mr. Prakash Tulsiani, COO received the award at a gala evening amidst the presence of prominent industry leaders and stalwarts. The award was presented by A.P.V.N Sarma, Hon’ble Secretary- Ministry of Shipping. GTI has received this award on the basis of its efficiency in operations vis-à-vis business volumes and productivity.

This forum, comprising CEOs from Ports, Shipping and Logistics sector, aimed to identify issues and to develop a road map for the industry with increased partnership and cooperation among the stakeholders.
