Philadelphia, PA (PressExposure) October 01, 2007 -- Local fitness expert and physical therapist Dr. Kareem Samhouri has teamed up with the Philadelphia Pita Pit to offer a one-time, free "Corporate Women's Weight-loss Boot Camp" to be hosted at the Pita Pit (16th and Samson.) Dr. Samhouri has information that every exerciser needs to know: Halloween time is when the holiday weight-gain really begins. Pita Pit, and Dr. Samhouri of Global Fitness LLC are challenging corporate women to reach their pre-holiday weight loss goals through this unique, fully sponsored Boot Camp event.
"Women in the workforce are facing so many responsibilities these days" Dr. Samhouri was quoted as saying. "One of the main problems is that this group of motivated women is more often faced with family challenges after work, leaving them no time for exercise."
Pita Pit and local fitness companies remind corporate women that it's not necessary to gain weight during the holidays this year. "Point of fact, exercise is necessary. People need to exercise in order to maintain and enhance their quality of life, especially during times of increased stress like the holidays. Group exercise environments, in particular, tend to create camaraderie and teamwork that can last a lifetime."
The six-week Corporate Women's Boot Camp will begin at 6am on October 29, 2007 and end on December 5, 2007, meeting every Monday and Wednesday for 45 minutes. Pita Pit will be sponsoring breakfast pitas, while Dr. Samhouri will be volunteering his services to the top 10 applicants. All interested corporate women should email PitaPitBootCamp@GlobalFitnessLLC.com with the following information:
