Goggles and Glasses Announces New Line of Tattoo Sunglasses

Locust Grove, AR (PressExposure) August 25, 2008 -- In an exciting announcement today, Goggles and Glasses is pleased to reveal that a new line of Vintage Tattoo Sunglasses is available. Body art and eyewear meet in an inksplosion on these glasses. The new line features artwork inspired by popular vintage tattoo flash. There are seven design styles, each available in two to three different frame colors. The artistic decoration on the frames displays either a dragon, eagle, panther, or fish. Another design available showcases a skull, with either a purple flower, a rose, or a checkered pattern. These tattoo-imprinted sunglasses are quickly becoming the hottest eyewear trend across the nation.

Tattoos Gain Popularity The tattoo industry has gained increased popularity in the past decade, contrary to what used to be the case. In 1936, Life magazine approximated that 6% Americans had at least one tattoo. The number of Americans with tattoos is shown to nearly triple to 16%, when a Harris Poll was done in 2003. In the United States alone, there are approximately 20,000 tattoo studios in operation, with a new one being added to that number every day, according to a U. S. News & World Report article. Among Americans with tattoos, 34% said having a tattoo has made them feel sexier.

Comments on the Tattoo Sunglasses Gary Richardson, CEO of Goggles and Glasses, had this to say about the new line, "I like the quality of the glasses - they are outstanding. The tattoo designs are probably the most popular designs in the world. Each tattoo has its own meaning. The glasses fit men or women very well. I like them so well, I have decided to give a Free Gift with Purchase for First 100 Orders. I was the first one to put a pair on and when I did, I instantly felt 10 years younger, sexier, and I even noticed my hair started growing back!"

Jeremy Graham, lead photographer and web designer for Goggles and Glasses, had this to say about the line, "I think the glasses feature some intriguing art design. I shoot models all of the time, and these are the hottest shades I've ever worked with."

Shannon Edwards proprietor of Fine Line body art in Batesville Arkansas, when asked to review the new line, said, " Damn, my niece done stole my tattoo glasses from me, they are kick butt glasses when I can keep them on. They fit right into the rest of our tattoo apparel and the sales have been fabulous!

When asked to respond to the new Tattoo Sunglasses, a random man at the local gas station said, "Leave me alone. I have no comment - you tattoo people are a bunch of freaks!"

Spokespersons from Miami Ink and L.A. Ink were unavailable for comment on the line at this time.
