July 23, 2011 is celebrated as Gorgeous Grandma Day. On this day women are reminded to age with style no matter how old you are! According to Alice Solomon, author, columnist, radio host, and founder of Gorgeous Grandma Day, Gorgeous Grandma is not meant to be taken literally. It is meant to make us smile and take notice and embrace the life ahead of us, not our whole life behind us.
Dr. Wei states, And one of the best ways to season gracefully is to exercise. For those suffering from arthritis, it may be hard to feel motivated. But, by staying active, you can achieve a lot. Exercise is an important component to staying healthy. Moderate physical activities, when done on a regular basis, help decrease fatigue, strengthens muscles and bones, increase flexibility and stamina, and improve your general sense of well-being. Joint flexibility is especially important when you have arthritis because stiff joints can keep you from performing your daily tasks.
He adds, You should commit yourself to regular exercise that includes three types of activity: flexibility (stretching, range-of-motion) exercises, strengthening (resistance) exercises, and cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise. That may sound like a lot, but if you incorporate it into your daily routine, youll find it gets easier to do overtime just like brushing your teeth!
Dr. Wei concludes, In celebration of the Gorgeous Grandmas in our world, I encourage you to start taking care of you. To get a copy of a free report on 69 Ways To Make Your Life Easier, call 301-694-5800.
