Washington, District Of Columbia (PressExposure) November 16, 2009 -- Environmental industry group, Green Collar Association, announces its "Green Workforce Preparedness Initiative" to strengthen North America's position in the global green economy.
The Green Workforce Preparedness Initiative proposes that government provide targeted financial and regulatory incentives to corporations, labor unions, and non profits that invest in training and educating their skilled workers and professionals to equip them with the skills and tools to address the requirements of a green economy.
The Green Workforce Preparedness Initiative will result in: ⢠MORE JOBS: Creation and retention of jobs, for professionals as well as skilled workers, in the US and Canada that would otherwise be shipped overseas
