Portsmouth, Hampshire United Kingdom (PressExposure) January 06, 2011 -- HMS Warrior, docked in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, is hosting a wedding fair on Monday 28th of February 2011 from 5pm - 9 pm. The Warrior wedding fair offers couples a chance to appreciate the unique character of the Warrior as a wedding venue. The range of suppliers and experts on hand will provide an opportunity for couples to see the potential of the HMS Warrior as a wedding venue for both small intimate weddings and large spectacular occasions for up to 250 guests.
The whole ship will be open for perusal. This includes the grand Captain's cabin and the elegant Officers' Half Deck which will be decked out as if ready for a wedding ceremony. The Wardroom, Half Deck and Gun Deck will also all be beautifully styled demonstrating potential reception ideas.
Entrance to the ship will cost £2.50 per person, to be paid on the night at Victory Gate. A reduced parking tariff will be available for the Historic Dockyard's car park.
The specially selected range of other suppliers on board on the night will include wedding car hire companies, florists, hairdressers, wedding cake designers and photographers, all there to offer invaluable advice and inspiration.
Warrior's chosen caterers, County Caterers, will be providing taste samples of their dishes and will be on hand to discuss and advise about potential menus.
Warrior's special events team will also be available to answer any questions and advise about any aspects of having a wedding aboard HMS Warrior.
