Cupertino, CA (PressExposure) June 28, 2013 -- We are pleased to announce Happy Kids Day 2013 festival will be held on August 17, 2013 at Memorial Park in Cupertino, California. As one of the largest family oriented events in the San Francisco Bay Area, Happy Kids Day invites a consortium of performers with international children songs and dances, cultural exhibits with games and activities, and a diverse selection of ethnic delicacies. Our objective is to foster a more peaceful community through culture awareness and appreciation to achieve greater cultural understanding, ethnic diversity, and international cognizance.
Happy Kids Day is a multi-cultural festival with over 100 tents of exhibitors to provide children games and activities. This year, we are introducing International Village, a special area with pavilions, each hosted by representatives of a foreign Consulate or its compatriot organization to showcase their unique culture. Come experience and appreciate ethnic heritages of different countries at this unique fair.
NBC Bay Area's Janelle Wang will emcee the event to introduce participating groups, including Radio Disney live show, Monterey Bay Aquarium exhibit, Agape free children dental service, US-Taiwan Sister Cities, Cupertino Book Mobile, Rolling Video Game Trailer, and various animal exhibitors in a new area called Happy Zoo. Also be sure to stop by the food tents to enjoy a diverse selection of ethnic food.
We invite all children to participate in the Happy Drawing Contest. The contest is open to all children on the topic, "My Most Desired Travel Destination". Please draw on a 8.5" x 11" paper and bring your drawing to the event to receive a small gift. All participants will also have a chance to win an Apple mini iPad.
