Cheltenham, United Kingdom (PressExposure) June 12, 2008 -- Are you a nurse? Are you happy in your work and home life? If not, there is a new solution for you - happynurses!
Happynurses in an online and offline community for nurses who feel in need of help, support, fun in a positive community of like-minded nurses. The happynurses website is a source of help and information for nurses on all aspects of their lives - work, love, health and happiness.
Happynurses is a the idea of Claire Westwood a nurse and life coach who has experienced first-hand the stresses of being a Ward Sister and trying to juggle shifts, an emotionally and physically demanding job with the rest of her life. 12 years ago she was depressed, burnt out and feeling hopeless about life.
Today she is happy, healthy and looking forward to helping other nurses who feel like she did. She uses skills and information she has learned since she left full-time nursing and studied life coaching and performance, travelled, attended personal development seminars and coaching courses and learned to look at her life in a different way.
"Nursing is a very stressful job. Everyday nurses deal with sick and dying people, with little support sometimes form the organisations in which they work. I have created a place where nurses can come for some independent support and help on life issues. If nurses are not cared for, they cannot keep caring for others" Claire states.
"The world needs happy, healthy nurses and I intend to help as many as I can through the website and through teaching and coaching individuals"
