Newcastle, United Kingdom (PressExposure) May 16, 2009 -- In March 2009 Marjupi Games is releasing its first 3D game called "Help! Aliens!" into the wild. Marjupi's aim is to tap into the new netbook market by making games that will work smoothly on these new machines. The is opposed to the more traditional game company route of targeting the newest and fastest PCs. "Most people don't own 1000 pound computers," says Paul of Marjupi Games. "But most people don't realise that their budget laptop or netbook is a very powerful machine capable of amazing graphics and sound. We hope to reach these people by offering games targeted specifically at their machines."
They are also distributing their game entirely on the internet. "We see this as the future," says Paul. "By distributing the game on the internet by download, we can keep the costs down for our customers and focus more on the game itself."
When asked what was the secret of making a great computer game Paul had this to say: "Imagination. Imagination. Imagination. Many games these days are designed by commities or done to a formula. Great games come from thinking outside the box. In the early days of computer games we didn't have fancy graphics to make games it was all about the idea. That's what we need to get back to."
Help! Aliens! is available for download at marjupi.com.
