Cordova, Tennessee (PressExposure) June 02, 2009 -- The general public has been largely unaware of a recent trend in agriculture and food production in the world and especially the United States: that of genetically modified foods. Foods deriving from genetically modified seeds and crops are now pervasive in the food supply of this country and fly under the radar of the public because these foods are not required to be labeled as such.
Research findings have now been coming in from studies in several countries on the health effects of these engineered foods -- and these foods are being shown to have an effect on health that is not benign.
Jeffrey Smith has been studying this issue and the research findings on genetically modified foods. He's the author of two books on the subject, Seeds of Deception" and "Genetic Roulette." He shares this information with Diane Brandon on "Vibrant Living" on Webtalkradio.net in a two-part show.
