"The primary focus on elderly care has essentially remained the same for decades," said the Executive Producer. "Modern medical science has certainly enhanced our care for the elderly, dropping costs and enabling surgeries that were unheard of just ten years ago," he added. There is no doubt that good common sense and compassion goes a long way in caring for your elderly loved one, and providing for their basic needs, but this segment will go beyond food and care, and deal with medical issues.
"If there was ever a society that is faced with dealing head-on with elderly care, we certainly live in it as 21st century Americans, with the aging of the baby boomer population," explained the senior producer for the show, "especially with the emotional connection we have with them." he explained.
