Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PressExposure) February 26, 2009 -- High school seniors and juniors who are looking at art and design schools and colleges have a chance to immerse themselves in a one week college experience at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale College Connection, July 27-21. Students will get an introduction to what it is like to attend a career-oriented college and learn about creative careers and use tools, techniques, and theories that are practiced by professionals in the area of choice â culinary, media, fashion, design.
Students will attend hands-on classes taught by the same professional experts who teach at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale design college. Shoot and edit video, whip up a culinary treat, construct a new product or fashionable garment, design an advertising layout, and more! When not in the classroom, a variety of activities are planned each day to maximize the experience of being in an artistic and creative college for a week.
