Holiday Inn Cochin, part of the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms today announced that it has won the 'Best New Leisure Hotel 2011' at the Hospitality India & Explore the World Annual International Awards.
Currently in its 7th edition, this year's awards saw a national representation of participating hotels and Holiday Inn Cochin emerged ahead of all other hotels competing within this category. Shri Subodh Kant Sahai, Honourable Minister of Tourism presented the award to Holiday Inn Cochin which was the judge's choice.
Receiving the award at the event was Garth Solly, GM at Holiday Inn Cochin.
