Thousand Oaks, CA (PressExposure) July 16, 2010 -- Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is excited to announce its week-long summer program for kids entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. By popular demand, the event will be led by the ELCA Outdoor Ministries team from El Camino Pines (part of the Lutheran Retreats, Camps and Conferences). Many local youngsters have attended camp at El Camino Pines and can attest to the excitement that can be expected.
Vacation Bible School students will enjoy the classrooms and playgrounds of the popular Honey Tree Early Childhood Center, a non-profit preschool sponsored by an outreach program of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
"Each day, there will be bible study, worship, crafts, singing and recreation," says Rose Egertson, Director of Children's Ministry.
Day camp is 9AM-3PM Monday through Thursday, and on Friday 9AM until noon. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch (drinks and light snacks will be provided). The cost is $100 per camper for the week. Registration is taking place now at the Church Office and is needed as early as possible so that the El Camino Pines team can prepare.
