Doylestown, PA (PressExposure) September 05, 2013 -- HomeTech Renovations, Inc., of Fort Washington, Pa, was featured in the June issue of Stone World Magazine for a kitchen remodeling project they completed in Wayne, Pa.
The remodeling project included the removal of an existing laundry and storage closet to create more space for a casual dining area. The original space that formed the butler's pantry was turned into a spacious bar, and the center island became a sink holder. The kitchen remodel also included white shaker-style cabinetry and hand-crafted tiles from Lilywork Tiles used in a herringbone pattern for all of the backsplashes. Working with hand-crafted tile requires a high degree of skill. The installation for this kitchen remodeling project was led by Ken Baker at HomeTech Renovations. All of the countertops, as well as the island, feature Belgium Bluestone.
Now complete, the kitchen remodel offers a more open environment for entertaining and a design that reflects the period style of the home.
