Jaipur, India (PressExposure) April 24, 2009 -- Shillong. A suspected terrorist of Bangladesh-based Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI) has been arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) at Umsyiem village in Meghalaya along the porous Indo-Bangla border, a BSF official said today.
Mahboob Hasan alias Abdullah (24), the suspected HuJI terrorist, was nabbed on Tuesday last while he illegally infiltrated into the country, the BSF spokesman said.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Hasan had undergone religious education in Jamia Islamia Madrassa for about 10 years at Dhaka, Mymensingh, Netrakona and Sylhet in Bangladesh, the official said.
From the interrogations, the BSF strongly suspected him to be a hardcore member of a Muslim fundamentalist organisation who might have linkages with HuJi.
