ILG Wins the Business Matters Award, 2012

Crawley, United Kingdom (PressExposure) August 20, 2012 -- ILG ( http://www.ilguk.com ) has been awarded the prestigious Business Matters Award for 2012. The award, which was presented to the fulfilment services company in July, recognises its outstanding overall achievement in the Large Business category, for Lewes; Horsham; Crawley; Haywards Heath; and Burgess Hill.

The judges at the Business Matters Award are asked to consider which of the large businesses in the relevant area have made conspicuous contributions in a number of areas. Businesses are judged on their community standing; their commitment to customer services; and their on-going efforts to create and maintain excellent employee relations.

The judges presenting the Business Matters Award to ILG also considered that ILG had demonstrated an unfailing commitment to exceeding customer expectations in every area of its fulfilment services provision.

As a consequence of the area award, ILG is now automatically put into the regional award - the Southern Region Business Matters Large Business Award - which will be judged and announced in September 2012.

ILG's continued growth and investment brings in new business opportunities daily; while its conspicuous community outreach programme has seen it delivering much needed funding and support to St Catherine's Hospice and Age Concern. Additionally, initiatives such as the monthly donation of £1,000 to a charity chosen by a local business have served to raise ILG's profile across the region, creating welcome visibility for the businesses associated with the company.

The fulfilment services offered by ILG include a full stock management package, in which a dedicated account manager assumes responsibility for managing cyclical stock checks and alerting client businesses when they need to re-order or put their supply chain on standby. Additionally, ILG account managers offer customer services functionality to end users, incorporating a helpline email address in client websites so queries regarding fulfilment progress are directed straight to the people who can help.

ILG provides a range of services including sameday or overnight pallet delivery; international and global freight forwarding; and bespoke freight delivery for challenging situations or one-off deliveries.

ILG boasts more than 700 clients around the world, and retains an independent status to ensure that every freight forwarding or delivery solution is provided according to the best prices and best methods of fulfilling its customer's needs, rather than through any affiliation to specific brand name freight companies. Instead, ILG maintains relationships with all quality courier and freight partners, large and small, to power its fulfilment services across the globe.

ILG enjoys ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, a further mark of its commitment to constantly evolving management processes and fulfilment services. The accreditation is evidence of ILG's on-going programme of service delivery and education, in which it provides agreed levels of service to its clients and instigates learning procedures if process improvement is appropriate. For the last 5 years, ILG has enjoyed a straight pass in every 6 monthly audit undertaken to ensure its continued adhesion to ISO 9001:2008 standards.

With a number of top ranking employees having risen from the ranks, ILG assures every client a fulfilment service that understands their requirements.
