Idealspace Design Celebrates Tenth Anniversary By Reinventing Itself

Montreal, Quebec Canada (PressExposure) May 10, 2007 -- In honour of ten years offering interior design services to home and business owners in and around Montreal, Idealspace Design has re-designed itself. Its new location, on Boulevard St. Jean, is just the beginning.

Idealspace Design welcomes architect Mehran Gharaati to the team. Gharaati will offer architectural services and landscape design expertise to residential and commercial projects. He has many years of architectural design experience in Montreal and in his native Iran. Gharaati obtained a Masters degree in architecture from the Pardis School of Architecture, Art University of Isfahan. His post-professional Masters degree, in architecture, was acquired at McGill's School of Architecture. Gharaati is currently completing his PhD, at McGill.

Idealspace Design's new office has an added attraction; an area displaying the work of gifted local artists. Works by Helga Schleeh, photographer Tiffany Orpana, abstract landscape artist Alicia Surveyer, to name just a few, will make up Idealspace Design's "mini art gallery". In addition, owner, Karen S. Weiner and some of her colleagues will share their expertise in organized workshops and seminars on design and décor - ideal for do-it-yourselfers.

"This metamorphosis has been a long time in the planning stages," said Weiner. "Interior designers do not work alone. The profession is tightly intertwined with decorators, architects, general contractors and sub-contractors. Synergistic work relationships are vital to every project. My new multidisciplinary office is a perfect way to strengthen these connections and offer clients more value."

So much can be accomplished with just one visit to Idealspace Design. "We have created an atmosphere in which clients and contractors feel at ease. Formalities have been set aside so that open communication and creativity can flourish," Weiner explained.

A grand opening celebration, hosted by Weiner and Gharaati, will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Idealspace Design's new location, 4230 Boulevard St-Jean, Suite 211. Several of the artists, whose works will be on display, will be dropping in throughout the afternoon and evening.
