Fresno, California (PressExposure) August 10, 2007 -- We are on the verge of a revolutionary shift from âegoâ to Spirit consciousness, the likes of which will have no other choice but to produce World Peace and Global Unity. Margaret Carrero invites the reader to ponder the possibility that each one of us is a catalyst for change, inside and out, in her first book WAKE UP â A Seed of Thought (now available through http://www.lulu.com). Carrero believes that by harnessing the Love and Light energy within the human Spirit, humankind has the power to recreate the current, chaotic world reality. The story and message nestled within the pages of âWAKE UP â A Seed of Thoughtâ were directly and divinely inspired by a tragic life experience.
In a uniquely divine flow, Carreroâs words speak to the reader like an old friend, as she shares the very personal and real story of her own Spiritual Awakening. Several months after her baby brother Larry died from cancerous brain tumor at the age of 22, Margaretâs mind became plagued by nightmarish visuals of his suffering. In a moment of absolute surrender, Margaretâs Spirit was lifted up and forever transformed through a meditation in which she was blessed with âa glimpse of Heavenâ. That glimpse sparked an intense fire deep within Margaret to share her story with others. Not only did she write âWAKE UP â A Seed of Thoughtâ but she began to live what she had written by becoming consciously aware of the energies she put forth in every thought, word and action.
Carrero explains, in simple ways, how âegoâ rears its ugly head the more an individual seeks out Spirit. She soon began to understand that this was a part of life; each one of us will be faced with the inner struggle between âegoâ and Spirit once the path towards Spirit has been unearthed and Spirit itself, awakened. She also offers hope that the more one focuses on elevating Spirit to the forefront of their thoughts, words and actions, the less power âegoâ has to impose its negativities.
Carrero was born in Staten Island, New York where she lived until the age of ten before moving to California with her family in 1984 where she remains and currently resides in Fresno. Carrero has 15 years experience in broadcast radio. Her voice has been heard on a variety of radio and television stations up and down Californiaâs Central Valley from as far north as Yuba City to as far south as Fresno. She has been writing poetry since she was nine years old with âWAKE UP â A Seed of Thoughtâ being her first full-length book. She is currently working on publishing her first poetry book and is putting the finishing touches on her first screenplay.
