Jay-Z New Year's Eve Concert At Barclays Center In Brooklyn NY

Brooklyn, NY (PressExposure) December 12, 2012 -- This New Year's Eve will be something special as Jay-Z readies himself to perform at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. He will take stage at the arena alongside the British rock band, Coldplay.

This is not the first co-headlined performance for the rap star and rock band! In fact, it's not their first New Year's Eve concert together either. Back in 2010 the two parties headlined the New Year's Eve event at Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas, NV. Jay-Z was paid a generous $1 million dollars for his performance that night.

It's no question Jigga will give the performance of his lifetime, because this will be a show like no other since Barclays Center is located in his hometown, Brooklyn NY. Hova has a vested interest in Barclays Center, not only does it sit in his birthplace, but it's also home to the Brooklyn Nets basketball team which Jay-Z is part owner.

The big question is who Jay-Z will bring out on stage. It's expected that his wife, Beyonce, will make an appearance. His good friend, Kanye West, will also likely perform. Then his friend and Coldplay's Chris Martin wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, will probably take the stage as well. We'll have to all just wait and see. It's one of those moments you'll just have to be there.

In October, Jay-Z opened the Barclays Center with a 5 day sold-out concert performance. It's expected this New Year's Eve show will sell out fast and be a packed event. Jay-Z seems to have that effect, anything he touches turns to gold.

If you are in the NYC area this New Year's Eve then this is a concert party you don't want to miss. Tickets are on sale now, so get yours before it's too late. To purchase tickets visit, http://streetdose.com/nyejz
