St. Augustine, Florida (PressExposure) April 26, 2008 -- Success tip number one is know how to sell. A business rises and falls on the bottom line. No matter how much one talks about and promotes themselves, they need to make actual sales. Focus on learning how to close the deal; the more deals that are closed, the more money that is earned.
Success tip number two is If you don't ask, the answer is always "no". Ask and by surprised by how many people say "yes". Many people lose out on opportunities because they assume the answer will be no.
Success tip number three is to run from negative people; one needs to be around supportive people to resist the negativity. Business people cannot afford to be dragged down to the level of negative people.
Success tip number four is to find mentors who provide emotional fuel. A good example of a mentor is an author of books. F. W. Woolworth wasn't successful until he failed five times; he persisted. Follow mentors like Henry Ford and other great industrialists.
Success tip number five is to have an unstoppable success formula, containing the following components:
1. Educate yourself; study direct marketing. 2. Refrain from failure...Say "next" instead of focusing on failure. Go to the next opportunity. 3. Don't go below the waterline. 4. Visualize the desired result. 5. Take positive risks. Taking no risk is the biggest risk of all. 6. Persist. Take action again and again; never give up. 7. Trick the subconscious mind. Say this affirmation, "Each day I am getting closer to my goals. I cannot fail. Yes!"
These tips worked well for Jeff Kaller; he teaches them to his students in the short sale business. "These tips are useful for anyone in any business, or just life in general," says Kaller.
