Our Itinerary in the Holy Land:

When You Come Into the Land (Deut. 26:1)
Welcome to Israel! Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport to be met and assisted by your ITC representative (today's program depends on arrival time). Our tour begins as we travel up the Judean Hills to enter the Holy City of Jerusalem, excitement mounts, and we will stop to mark the occasion with a breathtaking view of the Old City.

Jerusalem and Bethlehem:
Take in a breathtaking overview of the Temple Mount and Old City from the Mount of Olives. Walk down Palm Sunday Road to visit the Teardrop Church and the Garden of Gethsemane. Proceed to Mount Zion to visit the tomb of King David and the Upper Room. Visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu and see a Byzantine model of Jerusalem. We then focus on the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, including Manger Square, the Church of the Nativity, and time for shopping.

The Dead Sea Region:
Early departure to drive through the Judean Wilderness on the ancient Roman road down to the Dead Sea. Ascend Masada by cable car. Tour this impressive excavation and discuss the terrible dilemma faced by its Jewish population during Roman times. Stop for a dip in the amazing Dead Sea. Visit the excavation, home of the mysterious ancient sect that authored the Dead Sea scrolls.

Layers of History:
Visit the historic city of Jewish mysticism, as well as home to many gifted artists; tour its mystical synagogues, courtyards, and shops. Explore the fascinating First Century sarcophagi. Continue to the excavated ancient port city of Caesarea. See history come to life at the multi-media center and tour the impressive Amphitheatre, aqueduct, and hippodrome Travel south to the modern Hebrew city of Tel Aviv.

The Modern Hebrew City:
Take a panoramic bus tour of the modern Hebrew city of Tel Aviv, including a stop at Rabin Square. Walk through Old Jaffa, once the gateway to the Land of Israel; review the biblical story of Jonah on site; discuss St. Peter's miracle and vision. Enjoy an impressive presentation of the amazing achievements of the Pal Mach at the multi-media Pal Mach Museum (if available). At Independence Hall, relive Ben Gurion's moving declaration of the State; discuss whether it seems that the vision of Israel's founding fathers -articulated in the Scroll of Independence -have come to fruition.
