Wallingford, Oxfordshire United Kingdom (PressExposure) May 13, 2011 -- The Business Improvement Network (BIN) re-launched at the end of March with a brand new website and sponsorship from the process improvement company - Triaster Ltd.
The Network is a group of over 1600 UK-based managers, drawn from hundreds of organisations, with a shared interest in the best practice application of quality and business excellence approaches. Founded in 1997, the group is interested in theory up to a point, but the real focus is how theory can be applied in a practical way within business to move positively and systematically towards continual improvement.
The BIN will continue to organise regular events including workshops and Open Space gatherings, for the purpose of sharing, learning and developing in practical ways. Founder of the group, Jim Wade, announced at the launch: "The Network will continue to hold firm to the principle that it exists for the benefit all its members. To that end we will be establishing a membership committee, including members from several sectors, who will help guide the Network's future directions and activities."
Membership of the Network brings great benefits, including a regular News Digest of business improvement topics; a Library of articles on the principles and practices of continual improvement; and access to two on-line discussion forums - a public one, for general discussions and a private one, for the continuation of discussions started at BIN events.
Michael Cousins, MD of Triaster added "I'm extremely pleased to announce Triaster's sponsorship of The Business Improvement Network. We have supported the Network to re-launch its brand new website and are very committed to help promote awareness and increase the membership base of this well respected group".
