Dana Point, CA (PressExposure) June 12, 2014 -- Sometimes people see divorce as an ending, but Judy Papio Mastracchio of Dana Point, a Certified Life Coach, Certified Professional Coach and Certified Divorce ® sees it also as a beginning. The motto for her Life Coaching and Divorce Coaching practice is "Today is never too late to be brand new."
"Clients will come to me feeling like they have lost everything including their identity when they are facing divorce. Some of them don't even know how to survive the process no less moving on and rebuilding their lives. At OC Divorce Coach (OCDC) we support them as they make their way through this difficult journey," Judy says, speaking from her office in downtown Dana Point.
As part of this support, in addition to her coaching, she offers the services of three other professionals: a Certified Personal Trainer, who is also a certified Life Coach, a Financial Advisor who is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and a Certified Nutritional Consultant who is also a Reiki Master.
"Our concept is to help the whole person, man or woman, regain their self-confidence, find balance in their lives and move forward. There's no question that divorce, especially when you are not the spouse initiating the action, is devastating. By having trained experts behind you, helping you every step of the way, it can be much less painful. That's why I've added this team of experts to my practice."
It's not unusual for depression and anxiety to cause people to not take care of themselves physically. Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Life Coach, Kelly Mac, is the key to turning that around with each client. Having established Boot Camps throughout Orange County, she is known for her ability to tailor every exercise program to the individual's age and abilities. Even those who have rarely worked out achieve results with her guidance. Her goal is to have every client feel better physically and at the same time look better as they go forward in their new life.
Allison Peterson, who is a member of The Sullivan Group, joined them as a Client Service Associate in 2007. She has since completed the required securities and insurance licensing examinations and now serves as a Financial Advisor with The Sullivan Group.
She went on to complete a specialized educational program in professional divorce analysis and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), trained to provide financial information and assistance to people going through a divorce. Allison evaluates the tax implications of dividing property and the financial impact of various settlement options for dividing marital property (including pensions) and child and spousal support payments.
The fourth member of the OCDC team is Teri Reddy, Certified Nutritional Consultant and Reiki Master.
Teri uses her talent as a Reiki Master to heal the body as it is a gentle, yet powerful energy. When someone is under the weather, or suffering from an illness, she can assist them to work with their body in ways to help strengthen it and clear it out. "We all want to have harmony within the body energy and this helps to create harmony," says Teri.
She also knows that sometimes we need other paths to follow during life's challenges and she uses Soul Memory as an option to clear out negative energies within the body. It helps when we are "starting over" with a fresh new perspective as to who we are within our Soul. Certainly divorce is the beginning of a "starting over."
As a certified Nutritional Consultant, Teri helps clients get back to a healthier state by putting together an individualized meal plan that works. In addition to Reiki, she also offers services employing Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Energetic Healing and Herbal Remedies. She expects to complete her Holistic Health Practitioner Certification by the fall of 2014.
Judy, Kelly, Allison and Teri each offer a complimentary initial session.
"You wouldn't buy a car without a test drive," Judy says. "Having someone who can help you plan your life is far more important than miles-per-gallon. It's crucial to us that our clients see we are real people who have experienced the same feelings and emotions and understand."
