Stockton, CA (PressExposure) March 10, 2010 -- Nationally known author and speaker, Dr. Elixabeth Kearney, provided the business owners at Stockton's SWN meeting with information that was not only entertaining but also will prove very helpful to them as they put it to use in their businesses.
She provided those attending with insight into the importance of the newest workforce employees -- the Millennials -- and shared insights into the reasons for their interests and behaviors while noting some of the keys to utilizing the skills and enthusiasm of the newest members of our workforce.
Along with those tips, she shared the Reading People tools she had developed as part of her doctoral work and showed the businesswomen how to "read" themselves and others. The tools she provided have proven very popular with her clients (e.g., Lockheed Martin, Dun and Bradstreet, and other major corporations here and abroad), and the SWN audience has already put them to use according to many of those who were in attendance.
Dr. Kearney is a resent transplant from the Bay Area, and when she was interviewed, she noted that, "I have found the business owners in Stockton to represent the best of America -- enthusiastic, dedicted, welcoming, and concerned about their clients and each other."
It isn't surprising that a number of the members of her audience have already contacted her regarding workshops, presentations, and tips that could help them follow Jim Collins' advice and go from "good to great."
