Scottsdale, Arizona (PressExposure) June 22, 2009 -- If you've been blogging for a while and feel that you've been having a hard time staying interesting, you are not alone. I think this is obvious: according to tech news sources, at least one new blog comes into existence every second. They can't all be interesting, right? You can be interesting, though. Here's how.
First, look inside yourself and ask questions. What are you interested in? What are your passions? What's something important that happened today? How are you feeling, and how does that relate to your interests? This is a good start; keep probing yourself with relevant questions to reclaim the creative spark.
Another good method is to seek outward and ask questions, merging them with internally-relevant questions. What is going on in the world that relates to your interests? Is there an important event in the world -- or, even better, in your community or another local area -- that you feel you can write about? Speak up!
Take notes in a text editor on your computer, laptop, PDA, cell phone, or notebook. Buying a high-quality pocket notebook and some pens is a nice option, because they don't require batteries or a specific place to sit to take advantage of their function. Take notes on everything that strikes you, and something will work out.
