Kenosha Radiology Center Earns National AccreditationKenosha, IL (PressExposure) November 01, 2007 -- Kenosha Radiology Center has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR), after meeting stringent requirements and completing a thorough evaluation. "ACR accreditation offers a benchmark for patients to use when selecting a facility for their imaging needs," says Cary Pallin, M.D. "This distinction provides our peers, colleagues and patients with an added level of assurance that they have made the right choice in selecting Kenosha Radiology Center." According to John Pallin, M.D., "Earning accreditation underscores the quality of our work and our on-going commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients." Kenosha Radiology Center is the only outpatient imaging center in Southeastern Wisconsin or Lake County, Illinois to be awarded accreditation in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and mammography. The American College of Radiology, an independent, national organization of radiologists headquartered in Reston, VA., awards its accreditation only to facilities that demonstrate the highest standards, after a peer-review evaluation of the facility’s personnel and equipment. These evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists, who are experts in the field of diagnostic imaging.
