The competition started on the 11th June and ends at midnight on the 11th July and launched with partner's The Star and Chevrolet..
Says Melissa Storey, Executive Head: Strategy, Development & Marketing at First Car Rental, "As you would expect, most of our vehicle groups are scarce over this period so we decide to give a car away. This is a special competition for First Car Rental as we incorporated into our competition our First Car Rental mascot, Connor, a very skilful Scottish Terrier, to see if there are any pets in South Africa that could challenge Connor's skills at football or any other sport. Connor dribbles better than Cristiano Ronaldo." The competition is called Kick it with Connor and people can enter by either uploading a video of their pet displaying sporting skills or by answering four Football First questions around our national football team. Every person that uploads a video of their pet showing sporting skills will automatically get 5 entries into the competition."
