Lakeville, CT (PressExposure) April 16, 2008 -- Professional Games, Inc. is pleased to announce that its board game LAWSUIT! won Creative Child Magazine's 2007 Game of the Year Award in the Family Educational Board Games category.
LAWSUIT!⢠is unique- it's the first game for the entire family (and especially ages 6 and up) that teaches in a fun way what it's really like to be a lawyer.
As players move around the board, they set up and run their own law offices. After first graduating college and law school, they pass the bar, and then bring and defend cases, decide whether or not to appeal and enter into settlements.
Strategic decisions include whether to settle, litigate or later appeal, whether to remain in sole practice or "buy into" a law partnership and when to end the game by reaching the final square, where "Attorney of the Year" is determined. The game teaches the legal process, and lets players experience many of the issues facing a small business, all using attractive graphics and fun, whimsical legal scenarios.
LAWSUIT! is already available in prestigious specialty stores, like FAO Schwarz, the U.S. Supreme Court Gift Shop, the National Judicial College, and the National Constitution Center. It can also be found in several legal and general interest catalogs and websites.
