Atlanta, Georgia (PressExposure) February 15, 2013 -- LawnCare.net is excited to offer a $500 scholarship to one undergraduate student pursuing a career in horticulture, landscape architecture, botany, or a related field. The scholarship is to help raise awareness about different sustainability efforts and why they are crucial for proper lawn care in the year 2013 and beyond.
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who meets the criteria and shows outstanding potential to be an advocate for green practices in his or her career. Candidates must be United States citizens or legal residents enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
The application period is officially under way, so interested students can submit an application at any time until July 1st.
February 12, 2013: Application period begins
July 1, 2013; 11:59pm: Deadline for application submission
July 22, 2013: Scholarship recipient selected & notified
August 2013: Scholarship recipient announced on LawnCare.net
