Seattle, WA (PressExposure) May 26, 2009 -- Wakeboard Zone has just released a new section of their website that has all of the basics on Wakeboard Bindings. This is part of a new community website that is all about Wakeboarding Bindings. Members and non-members can visit this Wakeboard Bindings page on the Wakeboard Zone website for free at: [http://www.wakeboardzone.org].
Here is an excerpt from the new Wakeboard Binding information webpage:
âThe type and quality of the bindings is a key issue affecting the comfort level experienced by the rider on a wakeboarding venture. The wakeboard bindings have curved edges to accommodate the toes and feet and support the body bends and flexes. The rider should adjust the bindings properly to speed up the zeals and pleasures of the wakeboarder. The standing up position of the rider on a board is termed as stance. There are a variety of stances which are directly influenced by the types of bindings.
The usual components of wakeboard bindings are Wakeboard hardware, footbed, overlay and underlay and baseplate. The overlay renders firm support to the wakeboard riderâs feet favoring the body movements and stretching while holding the riderâs feet comfortably pushing the heel close to the wakeboard. In contrast to this, the underlay lies between the overlay and the feet; it acts as a preventive sheath from any titillation caused because of pinches in the feet."
