Life's Otherside opened their online store in late 2009 and has been slowly expanding their green product selection ever since. The store was founded by three University of Illinois graduates who bring a self-proclaimed "new and energetic sense of awareness." While we question their business savvy at times, we have never questioned their enthusiasm in the eco-friendly arena.

Life's Otherside carries over 100 green products from various manufacturers in categories including personal care, health, baby, pet, and accessories. Personal care products include natural shampoos, conditioners, lotions, mouisturizers, facial toners, and even toothpaste. In their health section, they sell supplements with special formulas such as heart health, antioxidant formula, mind formula, and an energy formula. The baby products on Life's Otherside include bottles, clothing, and baby personal care items. You can find eco-friendly pet beds and toys in the pet section. The most interesting category on Life's Otherside is the accessories which include hemp bags, laptop cases, water bottles, and even recycled speakers.

We are also quite fond of the laptop sleeves and backpacks at Life's Otherside. Manufactured by GreenSmart, the sleeves and bags are stylish and environmentally friendly. The inside fuzzy liner of the laptop sleeves is made from 100% recycled plasticbottles (rPET polyester) and comes in some exciting colors. Life's Otherside is aware that laptop sleeves are not one size fits all and offers various sizes for PCs and Macbooks. The backpacks are a newer product offered by GreenSmart, which combine protection with utility. The backpacks are also made from recycled plastic bottles and multiple colors are available.
