Local Function Facility Greets New Year With Optimism And Change

Randolph, Massachusetts (PressExposure) January 07, 2011 -- The past few years have been challenging for the Massachusetts economy, but one local business has held steady and forged ahead. Lombardo's, a family-owned function facility, is so optimistic about the future that they are embarking on an impressive renovation for their 47 year old business.

Lombardo's has always provided magnificent service, top-shelf food and beverage, along with superior presentation in its nearly 50 years in business. According to Paula Lombardo-Colia, "When we closed our East Boston location in 2000, our Randolph location became the focus for our business. With these planned renovations we will be even more corporate friendly with brighter lightening and better visibility."

Renovations will commence in January 2011 and are expected to take approximately three months. The new, upgraded facility will consist of a neutral color palette of silver, charcoal, and taupe; new carpeting; updated lounge furniture; and the removal of the fountain in the rotunda to make room for a larger reception area. Lombardo's well-recognized, landmark chandelier above the grand staircase will remain as the signature piece for the facility. In addition to aesthetic changes, Lombardo's will also introduce a new LED lighting system, which allows for programmable colors so the customer can have full control of the look and ambiance of the space.

According to Lombardo-Colia, "Our facility will remain open during renovations and we will keep service ongoing without interruption." She assures customers, "In no way are we moving away from who we've always been. Rather, we're updating our appearance to fall more in line with the needs of today's market."
