According to Inquirer.Net, "At the end of the two-day solo barnstorming, she told reporters Friday that the Marcoses of Ilocos Norte, the Singsons of Ilocos Sur, the Ortegas of La Union and the Espinos of Pangasinan were campaigning for her in their respective bailiwicks."
"Regardless of political color, regardless of political affiliation, they support my candidacy, my advocacy," Legarda said at a press conference at the capitol grounds after meeting with Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino.
Moreover, women leaders and activists in Lanao de Sur have expressed their support for Legarda during a peace forum held at the Mindanao State University in Marawi City on Friday.
According to Moro youth leader Jamaleah Benito, one of the convenors, the endorsements are meant to strengthen the chances of women leaders occupying important posts especially in the national government.
