Hanoi, Vietnam (PressExposure) October 12, 2012 -- The Hanoi based tour operator Lotussia Travel announces today the launch of a one-day bicycle tour to Bat Trang pottery village. This day trip, provided on sharing basis is the first biking trip Lotussia Travel arranges daily to the rural Hanoi. The tour costs USD 65 per person and needs to be booked in advance.
Bat Trang village is located on the left bank of Hong river and about 10 km from Hanoi. Bat Trang may be famed internationally for its ceramic exports, but it also continues to pay tribute to its long-standing academic traditions.
The tour starts with a car transfer from Hanoi city center to Lotussia Travel bike store where travelers will enjoy some test ride before starting their one-day adventure. After about a half hour cycling, travelers will reach a small biking trail that furrows among pop corn, vegetable and fruit gardens. They mostly cycle on the back roads amidst the wild nature.
After about two hour cycling, travelers will arrive in Bat Trang village, a small village in the north of Vietnam, is about 13 kilometers southeast of Hanoi center, on the other side of the Red River. The village is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality.
After lunch, provide in a local restaurant in Bat Trang, the bikers will have time for a short walk around the village before continue their bicycle ride to get back to Hanoi.
