Just after you pass the unusual Baddeley Clock on your left, you will find 21, The Lakes Hotel on your left hand side.
For a more scenic route, take junction 40 off the M6 and travel along the A66 in the direction of Keswick. Turn left onto the A592 for about 1 mile to Pooley Bridge. Travel from here along the beautiful scenic route to Windermre via Ullswater Lake and Kirkstone Pass, where you can enjoy unrivalled views.
